The 2011 home repair / improvement season is ending soon and Mayor Cicero is reminding Lyndhurst homeowners of the services available through the Cleveland Restoration Society. The Heritage Home Program, which is sponsored by Mayor Cicero, offers homeowners free advice on a variety of maintenance and repair issues unique to older and historic homes (at least 50 years old.)
Eligible homeowners can maintain or restore their homes and save money through a 3.5% fixed interest rate, 7-10-year loan program. Common projects include painting, roof and porch repair, kitchen and baths, basement waterproofing, window repair, new furnaces, mechanical upgrades, addressing violations and much more. The Heritage Home Program can be used for both owner-occupied and rental properties.
CRS' historic preservation team will work with you and your contractor from start to finish. There are no income restrictions, closing costs, or points. Interest is tax deductible! Call Mary Ogle of the Cleveland Restoration Society at (216) 426-3106 for more information or to schedule a free consultation at your home.
